Bring the nostalgia of Singapore Kopitiam's to your home by pouring Nanyang Kopi the traditional way with our hand assembled Kopitiam Pouring Pot.
Famously seen at every Kopitiam [Coffee Shop] in Singapore, this batch-brew coffee pourer allows for a steady and quick pour. Made from high quality soft steel, it's light and easy to manage. It typically holds up to ten 8oz portions worth of Nanyang Kopi Base Brew and should ideally be used in conjunction with the Coffee Brewing Pot.
Use
Simply placed a large-size Coffee Sock Filter into the mouth of the pot, then pour brewed Nanyang Kopi into the filter at a height of about 50cm (be careful - brewed coffee is HOT!) The Coffee Sock Filter will filter out all of the Nanyang Kopi grounds and allow your Nanyang Kopi Base Brew to collect in the Coffee Pouring Pot ready for use.
Pro tip: 'Tarik' [pull] the Nanyang Kopi Base Brew - pour Nanyang Kopi Base Brew back into Coffee Brewing Pot and then pass through the Coffee Sock Filter again to develop an even richer flavour by incorporating oxygen and agitating coffee grounds. Repeat 2-3 times or as desired.
Compatible With: Electric Hob, Induction Hob - use hobs to keep Nanyang Kopi Base Brew warm or to bring back to temperature when needed
N.B.: Induction Hobs vary with sensitivity. There is a 1 cm approx lip below the pot which some induction units may be unable to 'scan' to activate their induction element. Contact us if in doubt.
