Description

Bring the nostalgia of Singapore Kopitiams [Coffee shops] to your home by brewing Nanyang Kopi Power or Tea Dust the traditional way with our hand assembled Kopitiam Brewing Pot.

The ultimate way to batch brew your Nanyang Kopi or Traditional Tea Dust. This mild steel pot holds approximately 2L of water to brew favourite Singaporean Kopitiam hot drinks.

Coffee and Tea Brews

  • For Coffee - add 200g Nanyang Kopi Powder [10 cups worth], 2L hot water, stir with our Wooden Coffee / Tea Stirrer and leave to infuse for 3 minutes. Stir again to reintegrate Kopi grounds and then filter through our Coffee Sock Filter into our 'Kopitiam Coffee Pot'. Voila - Nanyang Kopi Base Brew!
  • For Tea - add 100g Traditional Tea Dust [for Teh Tarik] or 80g Tea Dust [for Teh/-O/-C], 2L hot water, stir with our 'Wooden Coffee / Tea Stirrer' to saturate all the tea dust and filter through our Tea Sock Filter into our 'Kopitiam Tea Pot'. Repeat filtering process as necessary [check Tea Pouring Pot page]. This produces up to 15 cups of Tea Base Brew depending on the tea drink recipe
  • To be used in conjunction with our 'Coffee Pouring Pot' or 'Tea Pouring Pot

N.B. Minimum recommended brewing quantities are half of those listed above [e.g. 100g Kopi Powder : 1L Hot Water] due to the size of the brewing pot. A lesser quantity of ingredients may result in brewing temperature falling too quickly.

Care Instructions

Hand wash with hot water and detergent, and rinse well. Clean well when switching between Kopi / Tea so that oils do not contaminate the other brew.
